Shaun works in sales and marketing for True South Solar, a Southern Oregon University alumni owned local business.

Shaun graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2014; he studied business, environmental studies, and corporate sustainability. In 2011, through the SOU School of Business, he studied renewable energy in Germany. In 2012, while director of sustainability for student government, he led the establishment of the SOU Green Fund to invest student dollars into local energy, water, and campus sustainability projects. The fund has helped establish three new solar installations on campus, purchase water offsets and launched the SOU Farm.

He enjoys volunteering in a variety of capacities. He serves on the Oregon Solar Energy Industry Association (OSEIA) Policy Committee. He is a founder and Board Treasurer of Rogue Climate, a local environmental nonprofit. He is also the chair for the MRG (McKenzie River Gathering) Foundation grant making committee.

He lives in Ashland with his wife Erica and two wonderful sons, Carter and Micah.
