Sachta Bakshi Card

Sachta Bakshi Card,was born and raised in India and moved to the United States to attend Southern Oregon University at 17. Sachta is an honors graduate of SOU where she earned bachelor of science degrees in business administration and economics along with a certificate in applied finance and economics. She also holds a master’s degree in management from SOU. During her tenure at SOU, she received the prestigious, Outstanding Woman Student in Economics award from the American Association of University Women. She also has master’s degrees in business administration from San Francisco State University and in international business from University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.

Sachta held a career in finance at a global accounting and auditing firm before becoming an entrepreneur and investor in the hospitality industry. Currently, she is the owner of multiple restaurants in Ashland and advises other small businesses in the region. She serves on the boards of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) and Options for Helping, Resources and Assistance (OHRA). Serving her community is her passion.
